The keyboard sounds are the FM-7 and EVP-88, and the Bass is the Modern Pick sound from Trilogy. Note how effective the subtle real-time filtering of the percussion works in shaping the dynamics of the mix. These trademarks of other manufacturers are used solely to identify the products of those manufacturers whose tones and sounds were studied during Spectrasonics sound development. This track starts off in an abstract way with the detuned and filtered Needle Scratch sample and then builds with more and more Stylus RMX elements coming in and out. *All other manufacturers' product names used in this instrument are trademarks of their respective owners, which are in no way associated or affiliated with Spectrasonics. The other attraction is the actual samples. It took some time.but was a lot of fun and it makes for a real "head-turner" of a demo track! but also sliced REX/WAV files, Stylus RMX support, and both chromatic and sound menu oneshot/multisample. Stylus RMX is the first product to offer the combined power of Groove Control with Spectrasonics Advanced Groove Engine (S.A.G.E.) technology giving you dramatic new control over groove production and performance. Reversing beats and chopping it up to add stutter FX in the mastering. Stylus RMX is a groove-based software instrument plug-in for Macintosh and Windows. The real fun then came in the 2-track editing process, with EP doing hundreds of "Squarepusher Razor-blade" edits in Bias Peak, muting beats. This means that all the drums and triggering can be done using stylus rmx and the keyboard which could be great for live performance. Bob sequenced the uptempo Jazzy track.then EP went to work on it, adding more Stylus RMX parts, using the RMX LFOs for heavy filtering and panning tricks and adding the heavily effected Trilogy Bass part.
